Mark Prisk got on board with the campaign to diagnose cancer last week as Cancer Research UK’s Cancer Awareness roadshow made a special stop at Parliament.

He met with the charity’s roadshow nurses and campaigners to learn more about how cancer affects people in Hertford and Stortford

Under the Equality Act, guide dog and other assistance dog owners have the right to enter most services, premises and vehicles with their dog.

However, 75% of assistance dog owners we surveyed have been refused access to a restaurant, shop or taxi.

Mark Prisk MP welcomed Therapy Dogs Nationwide - and some of their furry helpers - to the Houses of Parliament. The organisation is a national charity where visiting volunteers take their own dogs into establishments to give comfort, distraction, and stimulation.
