Mark Prisk MP has met with senior managers at Govia Thameslink to present the findings of his survey on passengers concerns. He made it clear that Hertford North passengers feel their service has declined and that reliability is the key issue. Mark has published the findings on his website.
Mark sought and secured a commitments from GTR to write to him to spell out how they intend to make the service more reliable, introduce new rolling stock, and improve communications during 2018. At the meeting at Westminster Mark also sought GTR’s agreement to meet passengers locally in the early months of 2018 so they could put their concerns direct.
Mark said “ I have made clear to GTR that the recent drop in standards isn’t good enough. I welcome their agreement to set out how they intend to improve the service over the coming year and also to agree to my request to hold a Meet the Managers event for Hertford North commuters in Spring 2018.”
