The Government is today announcing the winner of its new Condition Improvement Fund (CIF). Worth over £200m nationally the CIF has been awarded to nine schools in the Hertford & Stortford constituency.
The schools include Birchwood, Herts &Essex, Leventhorpe, Chauncy, Sele, Simon Balle, Richard Hale, Windhill and Northgate in Hertford, Ware, Sawbridgeworth and Bishop's Stortford.
Mark Prisk MP said: "I am delighted the Government is awarding nine local schools new capital funding. This a real vote of confidence in their heads, governors and staff. All the hard work to put these bids in has paid off."
