Last week Mark Prisk attended an Alzheimer’s Society event for parliamentarians to learn more about the issues affecting people with dementia. There are 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK and it is the 21st Century’s biggest killer.
I am very concerned about the possible closure of this facility, which is owned by Chauncey School and jointly managed with East Herts Council. I have written to them both to call on them to meet and to work out how they might run this facility in the future.
